Year End Financial Accounts
For all companies, the Year End is the completion of the accounting period. It does not necessarily correlate with the calendar or fiscal year, but instead is usually set according to when the Company was incorporated.
Legally, you have to submit your Year-End accounts (along with the Corporation tax return for Limited companies, LLP’s, PLC’s etc) to HMRC within 12 months of your Company’s Financial Year End date.
To further complicate matters, all Corporation Tax due to HMRC needs to have been paid and your Statuary Accounts filed with Companies House within 9 months of your Companies Financial Year End date…… Confused?
We can help.
